About Signature Brew Haggerston

Signature Brew Haggerston is a 160-capacity live room and taproom in east London, set inside Railway Arch 340 beside Regent’s Canal. Its defining proposition is compact and unusually literal: a concert space attached to Signature Brew’s original taproom, with the bar pouring its own releases alongside guest beers. The arch setting, canal-side terrace and dedicated live-music-photography exhibition space give a gig an atmosphere closer to a social base than a conventional black-box room.

Beer, bands and the railway arch

Signature Brew formed in 2011 amid Britain’s craft-beer boom, building its identity around collaborations with musicians. In 2018, the company opened the Haggerston Taproom & Venue in a railway arch on Acton Mews, establishing the present room as its original taproom. The setting makes its purpose clear: recurring gigs, DJs and comedy sit alongside a bar supplied by the brewery.

Two later moments sketch the scale of the room’s appeal. In 2022, skateboarder Tony Hawk made a surprise visit as the 900 played the Haggerston stage. The following year, Lola Young sold out a three-night residency here. Those events place the arch in a useful middle ground: intimate enough for a residency run, yet flexible enough for a sharply different one-off night.

The room today

Signature Brew markets Haggerston for private hires while programming weekly gigs, comedy and weekend DJs, making its booking policy broader than a concert-only club. The calendar’s lane covers indie, rock, metal, alternative, pop, R&B, folk and hip-hop. Inside, the 160 standing capacity keeps performers and audience close; equipment includes a stage, speakers, screens and DJ turntables. Expect a taproom layout first, with Signature beers, guest pours, wine and local spirits, plus an outdoor terrace by the canal. CAMRA lists step-free access and an accessible toilet.
