About Elsewhere

Elsewhere is a five-room, three-stage music venue, nightclub, and arts space in Bushwick, New York City. Its largest room, the Hall, holds 750 standing, while the 24,000-square-foot complex spreads across three floors of dancefloors and stages. The distinguishing feature is choice: a touring-show hall, emerging-artist room, lounge, event space, and seasonal rooftop give a single ticketed night several possible centers of gravity.

A Glasslands sequel, built for scale

Elsewhere began in the shell of a former industrial furniture-assembly factory. PopGun Presents partners Dhruv Chopra, Rami Haykal, and Jake Rosenthal developed the converted warehouse after their Williamsburg venue Glasslands closed in 2014. Plans originally pointed to a 2016 debut; permitting and construction delays moved the opening to Halloween 2017. The doors finally opened on October 31 with a costume party led by BATTLES, alongside Combo Chimbita and Cakes Da Killa. A year later, on October 11, 2018, Mayor Bill de Blasio held the Cabaret Law repeal ceremony on the Hall stage, placing the venue at a concrete civic turning point for New York nightlife.

Pick a room, then roam

Elsewhere’s programming centers underground and boundary-crossing music. Electronic and hip-hop bills sit alongside pop, R&B, indie, alternative, rock, and jazz, while the Hall serves national and international touring artists, DJ nights, and immersive art. Zone One gives a tightly curated platform to hometown and rising acts. Expect a maze-like industrial layout with side rooms worth exploring: the Hall has a large modular stage and 30-foot bar, while the second-floor Loft offers seating, a full bar, and Funktion-One sound. The rooftop opens seasonally for open-air shows and dance parties.
