Uber Eats Music Hall

Uber Eats Music Hall is Berlin’s 4,500-capacity concert hall, created as a mid-sized counterpart within AEG’s Friedrichshain entertainment district. Its distinction is a club-scaled audience room built for arena-level production: a 45-by-35-metre event floor beneath 16.8 metres of clear height, with total rigging capacity above 200 tonnes. That combination gives large touring productions substantial visual headroom while concentrating the audience in one room.

Built for the space between club and arena

AEG and insurer Verti announced the new Verti Music Hall in December 2017, with plans for a venue beside Mercedes Platz that could hold up to 4,500 people for concerts, shows, and corporate events. The hall’s first concert arrived on October 12, 2018, when Jack White played his Boarding House Reach tour; an opening party followed the next night, with Berlin band Laing and radioeins DJs introducing the new room to the public. Those two October dates established its original purpose clearly: a dedicated touring hall, purpose-built within the wider arena district. On March 22, 2024, a long-term Uber and AEG naming-rights agreement changed Verti Music Hall to Uber Eats Music Hall, alongside the neighboring Uber Arena and Uber Platz.

A configurable touring room

The programming remit reaches across indie, pop, hip-hop, musical, Schlager, and classical music, with sports, conferences, and corporate events also part of the house’s offer. For concerts, most setups use an end stage with either a standing or seated floor; gallery seating and an upper tier frame the room, while a centre-stage arrangement is also possible. Retractable stands allow promoters to adjust the scale, and five concessions across three visitor levels provide 20 points of sale.
