About Loge.
Loge. is a Friedrichshain concert venue and collective pub with room for 130 standing guests or 65 seated. Its defining feature is the split-level setup: drinks and conversation upstairs, performances downstairs. The concert room measures 4.3 metres wide by 12.5 metres deep, giving small bills a close-range feel, while a four-by-three-metre stage and an in-house PA, monitors, microphones and backline make it a practical stop for touring bands.
A collective’s first seven years
Loge. opened in 2019 as a Kneipenkollektiv, according to the German Music Information Centre. It operates through Utlande e.V., the registered association named in the venue’s imprint, and its public-facing purpose reaches beyond concerts: the collective pub hosts readings, discussions, information events and other gatherings alongside music.
A well-documented night came on October 3, 2023, when the self-organised FLINTA collective GRRRL-NOISY brought its jam-session series to Loge. Buzzkill opened before a participant session supported by venue gear including amps, drums, bass, guitar, pedals and microphones. The event’s format placed the room in Berlin’s grassroots music culture: an evening built for players trying ideas in front of a sympathetic crowd, with noise, grunge, punk, doom and metal among the collective’s reference points.
The room and the bills
Loge. lists booking and event-technology enquiries through its dedicated booking contact, while the music centre describes roughly 100 concerts a year led by hip-hop, punk and rock. Expect a compact downstairs floor with the stage at one end, plus an upstairs bar for pre-show time and post-set decompression. Concerts generally run from 20:00 to 22:00, a useful rhythm for audiences seeking an early, focused club show instead of an all-night programme.
