About Bi Nuu
Bi Nuu is a 500-capacity concert venue and nightclub inside Berlin’s Schlesisches Tor station in Kreuzberg. Its defining feature is the setting: live sets and late parties unfold beneath the elevated U-Bahn, in rooms shaped by the station’s ironwork and the building’s earlier lives as a department store, café and exhibition space. The venue opened as Bi Nuu in 2012, taking its name from Ideal’s third studio album.
A station room remade for live music
The present club began in 2012, when the former KATO Club became Bi Nuu under the Festsaal Kreuzberg team, whose wider Berlin venue operation also includes Lido and Astra Kulturhaus. That conversion gave the old station premises a fresh identity while retaining a location with a layered public past. Bi Nuu’s own history records department-store, café and exhibition use before concerts and parties arrived; local club history also traces an earlier Kato restaurant and later Kato club in the same space. A subsequent multi-year interruption during renovation work at Schlesisches Tor ended with Bi Nuu’s reopening, restoring the room as a concert and nightlife address beneath the tracks.
The room today
Expect a flexible, close-range club setup: the 221 m² concert hall has an optional 4 m by 3 m stage, directly connected backstage, bar and lounge, while an 84 m² café can serve as a second event area. Standing capacity reaches 500. Programming spans indie rock, pop, singer-songwriters, electro, punk and rap, alongside parties; Rap am Mittwoch has used the room for battle events and after-show dancing. Bi Nuu also books cultural events, private celebrations, conferences and corporate formats, so the calendar can move between touring bills and nightlife-led events.
