About Haute Spot

Haute Spot is an outdoor concert and events venue in Cedar Park, part of the greater Austin music orbit, with room for up to 2,000 guests. Its defining feature is the hybrid setup: a concert yard under the sky, paired with restaurant service, a full bar and limited reserved tables that receive food-and-drink delivery by QR code. The result suits listeners who want a casual open-air show while keeping dinner and a seat within reach.

A site built through quick change

Haute Spot opened April 8, 2019, as an indoor-outdoor private-events venue at 1501 E. New Hope Drive. The address had already cycled through Lone Star Grille & Amphitheater, which closed in December 2017, and BC’s Backyard Bar & Grill, whose short run ended in October 2018. By November 2019, the new venue had moved decisively into large-scale live music: its two-day Haute Mess festival hosted Snoop Dogg, appearing as DJ Snoopadelic, plus Ludacris and Cypress Hill. The festival also drew neighbor complaints and a police citation tied to the city’s sound limit. Owner Jeff Haynes subsequently described sound-mitigation work including revised stage placement and buffering, an unusually concrete chapter in the room’s early concert history.

The room in practice

Haute Spot books concerts alongside weddings, corporate functions, parties and festivals, so its calendar crosses country, rock, pop, Latin, R&B, folk, alternative and indie. Concerts play outdoors in rain or shine conditions; blankets are welcome, while outside chairs stay home. Many shows offer chair or high-top-table seating, with a rotating concert menu and full bar on-site. The venue also has indoor spaces that open outward, making the experience feel closer to a flexible hospitality compound than a single-purpose club.
