The most revealing small-scale route sits inside OT301 on Saturday 26 September. Its programme divides across the building: Kronkel 2026 begins in the Studios at 14:30 with Deli Girls and Trevoga Collective among the announced names, while the Home of Participation artist-in-residence sharing brings Somer Şpat, Nuka Horvat and Andrei Bessa to 4bid Gallery, listed by CrowdMate for 15:30. Their European agency describes the group’s sound through industrial, noise, rave and digital-hardcore elements, a concise frame for a set placed within Kronkel’s expansive bill. OT301 lists the festival’s genres as electro, punk, folk, slowcore, jazzpunk, garage and indie, then locates the event across five Amsterdam venues: OT301, OCCII, De Nieuwe Anita, Teatro Munganga and Willem de Zwijgerkerk. That scale makes the 14:30 start useful. A gallery programme with performance at its centre

Across the building, the Home of Participation sharing has a different tempo. OT301 schedules it in 4bid Gallery and describes it as an opportunity for its current artists-in-residence to share glimpses of research and creative practice. Somer Şpat is presented as a multidisciplinary artist and cultural organiser from Prizren whose work addresses forgotten histories, collective memory and the political processes shaping shared narratives. Nuka Horvat works across visual media and sound, with attention to queerness, social alienation, digital culture and cultural infrastructure. One building, two working definitions of underground

The pairing is unusually exact for OT301. Kronkel’s organisers describe their festival as an alternative one-day event celebrating the underground, with local and international acts, performance disciplines and artistic crossovers. 4bid describes itself as a non-profit platform where performance meets visual practice, prioritising artistic research, work-in-progress experimentation and knowledge exchange. The two descriptions share a vocabulary of participation, cross-disciplinary activity and local infrastructure, though they put it into practice through different formats. Deli Girls and Trevoga bring a billed performance context with a long opening window; Şpat, Horvat and Bessa offer a smaller setting for encountering ongoing work.
