For Thursday 15 October through Sunday 18 October, Berlin’s live calendar contains a compact route through guitar music at three independent rooms. The thread runs from I Promised The World’s metalcore at PrivatClub, through the four-act Indie in Town bill at Urban Spree, to Wesley & The Boys and Spa Boys at Schokoladen. These are shows built around bands, songs and bills with their own internal shape: a useful counterweight to the weekend’s extensive club listings, and a chance to move between Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain and Mitte without treating “guitar music” as a single sound.[1][2][3]

Thursday: I Promised The World at PrivatClub

The route begins on Thursday at PrivatClub, where Texas five-piece I Promised The World bring a catalogue the venue describes through metalcore, screamo, Midwest emo and post-hardcore. The band formed in 2023 and has connected its music closely to vocalist and guitarist Caleb Molina’s family history, giving the material an emotional center alongside its harder framework. Their self-titled EP sits at the heart of the current presentation. For listeners who like a show where intensity and melody share the same close-range space, this is the week’s most direct opening move.[1]

Doors are listed for 19:00, with the concert beginning at 20:00 on Thursday 15 October. PrivatClub’s event page places the show on Skalitzer Straße in Kreuzberg, making it an early, contained start to a weekend that soon becomes much broader in scale. The listed ticket price is €27 plus fees, subject to the venue’s current information.[1]

Thursday: Indie in Town’s four-act bill at Urban Spree

Also on Thursday, Urban Spree hosts the final Indie in Town event of the year: VENCE, M. Lucky, Mirrors For Princes and Yunni share the bill. The programming has an unusually useful spread. VENCE is Berlin-based Buenos Aires-born songwriter Rodrigo Bence Pieres’s project; M. Lucky arrive from Amsterdam with icy vocals and jungly beats; Mirrors For Princes draw on hook-led, distorted guitar music; and Yunni bring electro-clash, analog electronics and raw guitar energy. One ticket therefore traces several contemporary versions of indie’s restless borderland.[2]

Urban Spree lists the concert for 19:00 on Thursday 15 October at Revaler Straße 99, with a €12.50 ticket price. The venue describes its Concert Room as predominantly rock ’n’ roll oriented, which makes the bill’s mixture of singer-songwriter material, glitchy electronics, guitar hooks and electro-clash feel coherent in place. Go early enough to treat the sequence as a full bill; its value lies in the changes of texture between acts.[2]

Saturday: Wesley & The Boys and Spa Boys at Schokoladen

Saturday 17 October closes the route at Schokoladen with Nashville’s Wesley & The Boys and Spa Boys. Wesley & The Boys are presented as a four-piece rock and roll band whose reference points connect 1970s New York rock and roll with the garage-rock revival of the 2000s; their second album, Rock & Roll Ruined My Life, arrived in 2025. Spa Boys supply the local counterpart, billed by Schokoladen in terms of forceful, abrasive music. The pairing gives the guide its most stripped-back night: two bands, a direct room, and an emphasis on physical guitar-band momentum.[3]

Schokoladen lists doors at 19:00, the show at 20:00 and DJs after 22:00, so Saturday can begin as a concert night and remain social after the bands finish. Across this October 15–18 route, each stop asks for a different kind of attention: the concentrated emotional charge at PrivatClub, the four-way survey at Urban Spree, and the compressed garage-rock impact at Schokoladen. Recheck the official venue pages before travelling, since times, support slots, ticket availability and event details can change.[1][2][3]
